With your membership, you will receive the latest news affecting breastfeeding, opportunities to spread the word about breastfeeding through events and outreach, and support women who believe in nature’s ultimate power drink.
ABC is aiming to provide more continuing education and volunteer hour opportunities for area professionals. A volunteer hour letter is available to be emailed out, typically at the end of the year and upon request, to anyone who may need it for employer professional development files.
As a member you have voting rights. You'll also get the opportunity to network with other lactation professionals and those who work closely with breastfeeding moms and babies. If you are an IBCLC or CLC in the Acadiana area, you'll have the privilege of being on a list on our website. We want to make it easier local moms seeking lactation counseling to find you!
Anyone who is a breastfeeding advocate can be a member of Acadiana Breastfeeding Coalition. Whether you are a passionate mom or area professional who works with moms and babies, ABC would love to have you help us make breastfeeding the "NORM" throughout Acadiana.
